How may we help you today?
C: I heard about you on Tom Martino's radio show and wanted to understand
what it is you guys do there.
RL:
Sure, we get that a lot. Relogic lists properties for homeowners who owe more on
their home than what it is worth today. Most homeowners have been through circumstances
that have caused them to get behind on their mortgage and are simply not able to
keep up the payments.
C: Oh ok. That sounds like us. My husband lost his job in January and without
his income, we are now not able to make the mortgage payments.
RL:
Have you missed any payments yet?
C: Yes, just this last month's. But there is no way we are going to be able
to make any more payments. What do you recommend?
RL:
Tell me more about your situation, where is your home, how long have you owned it,
what do you owe, one or two mortgages etc...
C: Well, we live at_____________ in Denver and we bought it for $_________
in 2006. We have two loans on it.
RL:
This does sound like you would qualify for a short sale. Let me go into our process
in detail. Would that be okay?
C: Sure!

sale. Currently their home is listed and is under contract and being negotiated
with their lenders.
